Description:
ENGLISH II-SPEECH 1 Credit/Sem 1545-Semester
Recommended for: grades 10-12. Students will learn what makes an
effective communicator. They will prepare and present a number of speeches
including personal experience, demonstration, informative, sales, and
persuasive. Emphasis will be placed on delivery, research skills,
outlining, note taking, bibliographies, and visual aids.

Expectations:
-Attend class regularly. You are responsible for your make up work.
-Do your best. This includes giving your best in class each day and
having homework assignments done when you come to class.
-Bring necessary materials to class each day.
-Be courteous and attentive to the teacher(s), guests, and other
students in the room.
-Be respectful of each other and the property of others.
